5 Ingredient Asian-Inspired Hummus

Ingredients:

Edamame Hummus:

  • 1 and 1/2 cup shelled edamame beans, cooked
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 tbsp cold water, more if needed
  • pinch of salt and pepper

Optional Garnish:

  • 2 tbsp shelled edamame beans, cooked
  • 1 tbsp spring onion, chopped
  • drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • pinch of flaky sea salt.

Preparations:


  1. Add the edamame beans, tahini, tamari, rice wine vinegar and garlic into a food processor and process. Slowly add the water, scraping down the sides in between, until smooth and creamy.

  2. Transfer to a serving bowl and optionally garnish with extra edamame beans, spring onion, a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of sesame seeds and sea salt.
