Top 10 Vegan Spots in Noosa

I’ve been to Noosa twice now and both times I have been seriously impressed at how many amazing plant-based options the coastal town has to offer. I expected the beaches, weather, and walking trails to be a dream, but I didn’t expect to be eating some of the best vegan meals I’ve had in ages.

Whether you’re fully plant-based, mostly veg, or just into good food, Noosa has plenty of spots worth checking out. From chill cafés to restaurants serving up super creative vegan dishes, there’s something here for every kind of eater and every kind of vibe.

So, I’ve put together a list of my favourite vegan-friendly places in Noosa, with some menu highlights, to help you eat your way around town just like I have.

1.Bang Bang Noosa

Bang Bang is hands down my partner and I’s favourite dinner spot in Noosa, to the point where it’s become a non-negotiable part of every trip. We’ve made it a mission to dine there each time we visit, and honestly, it never disappoints.

First off, the food is phenomenal. The menu offers both plant-based and meat options, all bursting with bold, Asian-inspired flavours. It’s the kind of place that works for everyone, whether you’re fully vegan, somewhere in between, or dining with picky eaters. Second, the space is gorgeous. Think breezy indoor-outdoor vibes, marble accents, and lush greenery. It’s got that effortlessly chic feel without trying too hard. And lastly, the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Noosa on Hastings Street.

Yes, the prices are on the higher side, especially if you’re indulging in a cocktail or two. But, in my opinion, it’s 100% worth it for the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience.

My standout plant-based picks:

  • Garlic Chive Miang – A crispy garlic chive pancake with peanut and coconut caramel, pickled radish, all wrapped in a fresh betel leaf. Flavor bomb.
  • Roti Chanai – Flaky, warm roti with a satay dipping sauce. Just be sure to ask for it vegan (they normally cook it in ghee).
  • Fragrant Yellow Curry – A deeply flavorful curry packed with pumpkin, cauliflower, Thai aromatics, and topped with crispy shallots.
  • Stir-Fried Asian Mushrooms – A mix of king brown and shiitake mushrooms with garlic, white pepper, cherry tomatoes, and fresh herbs. Simple but so satisfying.

And if you’re into cocktails, do yourself a favour and try Miyagi’s Marg. It’s easily the best spicy margarita I’ve ever had.

2.Raw + Rice

Raw + Rice Noosa is my go-to spot when I’m craving a fresh, vibrant lunch that’s as nourishing as it is delicious. Nestled in the heart of Noosa on Hastings Street, this minimalist eatery offers a build-your-own poke bowl experience that’s perfect for a quick, satisfying bite or a leisurely lunch.

The menu is great for plant-based eaters like myself, featuring options like soy tofu, sticky mushroom, and a variety of fresh toppings such as edamame, avocado, and pickled ginger. All of the vegan dressing options are also delicious, with tamari, OG chilli and coco-lime being my favourites.

The bowls are available in small, regular, and large sizes, with prices ranging from $16.90 to $22.90. All are customisable and you are able to add extras, making it the perfect healthy lunch to fuel your Noosa adventures.

My go-to bowl:

  • The Base: Brown rice
  • The Protein: Soy tofu
  • The Freshness: Edamame, cucumber, carrot, mixed leaves and avocado
  • The Sauce: Tamari and OG chilli
  • The Crunch: Crisp shallots or wasabi peas
  • Extra Herbs: Mint and coriander

3.VanillaFood

If you’re after a healthy, feel-good brunch in Noosa, VanillaFood is a total gem. Tucked just off the main strip in Noosa Heads, this café nails the relaxed coastal vibe. It’s bright, breezy, and filled with plants. It’s the kind of place where you want to settle in, sip a good coffee, and ease into your day.

The menu is full of fresh, organic and seasonal dishes with loads of vegan options, both on the main menu and in the cabinet. The coffee is decent, not mind-blowing, but coming from Melbourne (aka the coffee capital of the world), my standards are high. That said, it’s still better than most beach-town brews. Prices are on the higher side for a café, but so is just about every place in Noosa, and at least here, you’re paying for quality and organic produce.

My stand-out plant-based picks:

  • Chilli Tofu Scramble – A colourful, protein-packed dish with golden turmeric tofu, creamy avocado, tangy pico de gallo, and a squeeze of lime, all served on toasted sourdough. Hands down the best chilli scramble I have ever had!
  • Avocado on Charcoal Sourdough – A visually striking plate with creamy smashed avo, turmeric-spiked cashew cheese, and a sprinkle of toasted hazelnuts for crunch. A super satisfying twist on the classic avo toast.
  • Berry Smoothie Bowl – A refreshing, fruity blend topped with their AMAZING house-made granola and loads of fresh seasonal fruit. Ask to add peanut butter for a salty-sweet upgrade that takes it to the next level.
  • Banana Bread – Dense, moist, and packed with flavour, served warm with rich miso caramel, coconut yoghurt, and juicy berries. It leans more toward dessert than breakfast, in the best possible way.

4.Sum Yung Guys

If you’re after a bit of fun with exceptional food, Sum Yung Guys in Noosaville is an absolute must. The vibe is loud, lively, and full of personality — with quirky decor, upbeat energy, and dishes that seriously deliver. It’s the perfect spot to visit with a group so you can order a bunch of plates and try as much as possible (trust me, you’ll want to).

They’ve got plenty of solid vegan options — and none of them feel like an afterthought. Like most Noosa favourites, prices are definitely on the higher end, but honestly… it’s so, so worth it. Just make sure you book ahead — this place is always buzzing and fills up fast.

Here are my stand-out plant-based picks:

  • Miang of Crispy Rice Cake, Spicy Peanut Relish, Green Apple & Kaffir – The peanut relish was so good I could’ve drunk it. Sweet, spicy, crunchy perfection.
  • Netted Spring Rolls, Gem Lettuce, Mint, Nuoc Cham – A classic spring roll, but lighter and fresher. Wrapped in lettuce with herbs and dipping sauce — so simple, so good.
  • Smoked Eggplant, Fermented Chilli, Yellow Bean, Spring Onion – HEAVEN. Hands-down one of the best dishes I’ve eaten in Noosa. Rich, smoky, spicy — a must-order.
  • Aromatic Yellow Curry with Pumpkin, Chickpeas, Tofu & Thai Basil – Creamy, fragrant, and packed with flavour. It’s one of those cosy, comforting dishes that makes you feel good inside.

5.Olakino

If you’re after something fresh, fruity, and quick, Olakino is your spot! It’s a cute little window café right on Hastings Street, serving up some of the best açai bowls, smoothies, and cold-pressed juices in Noosa. Perfect for a beachy breakfast, a midday refuel, or something light and energising before a swim.

Best part? Everything, and I mean everything, is 100% plant-based. No second-guessing whether the protein powder is vegan or if the milk’s been swapped. It’s all sorted, and it’s all delicious.

Here are some of my go-to picks:

  • Build Your Own Açai Bowl – I usually go for the classic açai and banana base with banana, kiwi, and strawberry, maple granola, cacao nibs, and a big scoop of peanut butter. Optional: add a vegan protein boost.
  • Chunk of Heaven Bowl – Açai and banana base topped with maple granola, coconut flakes, peanut butter, choc raw treat, and COYO vanilla ice cream. It’s basically dessert disguised as breakfast.
  • Peanut Butter Smoothie – Banana, peanut butter, coconut milk, cacao powder, and pure maple syrup. Super creamy, super satisfying.
  • Healthy Harry Smoothie – Spinach, coconut water, banana, kale, lemon, lime, apple, dates, and coconut nectar. Fresh, zesty, and full of greens. My go-to if I feel like I have been lacking in the greens department whilst vacationing.
  • Clean & Green Juice – Celery, apple, lemon, kale, spinach, and ginger. Again, a must if you need an extra boost of veg.
  • Red Cleanse Juice – Beetroot, celery, apple, lemon, and lime. Sweet, earthy, and refreshing. Perfect pre-workout to absorb all those nitrates the beetroot has to offer!

6.Land and Sea Brewery

If elevated pub food and laid-back vibes are your thing, Land & Sea Brewery in Noosaville is a great shout. It’s got that classic surf-meets-industrial look. Think hanging plants, surfboards, and motorbikes on the walls and the whole place has a super relaxed, welcoming feel. Full disclaimer: I’m not much of a beer drinker. But even so, I found a few drinks here that I genuinely loved:

My stand-out plant-based sips:

  • A Beautiful Something Native Lime & Myrtle Seltzer – Light, zesty, and seriously refreshing. Perfect for a warm Noosa afternoon.
  • A Beautiful Something Strawberry Lemonade – Smooth, subtly sweet, and dangerously easy to drink.
  • Noosa Beer Ginger Beer – Spicy, zingy, and kind of addictive. A must-try even if you’re not into beer.

As for the food, they’ve done a solid job with their vegan options. It’s elevated pub grub with a plant-based twist, and the vegan burger? One of the best pub-style burgers I’ve had.

My stand-out plant-based picks:

  • Vegan Burger – Chickpea patty stacked with mesclun, tomato, pickles, vegan aioli, and served on a beetroot bun with shoestring fries.
  • Sweet Potato Chips – Crispy, smoky, and served with a side of paprika-dusted vegan aioli.
  • Onion Rings – Crunchy, golden, and also served with that same dreamy vegan aioli.

7. Light Years

As shown above, Noosa does Asian fusion really well, and Light Years is no exception. This place nails the vibe with funky wallpaper, neon signs, leafy plants. Total jungle-core energy. It’s always buzzing too, with a lively, fun atmosphere that matches its drool-worthy food and punchy cocktails.

The menu is modern Asian, packed with bold flavours and plenty of vegan options that are exciting for the taste buds. Everything is designed to be shared, which makes it ideal for date night or a group dinner where you want to try a bit of everything. Like most spots in Noosa, it’s on the pricier side and you’ll want to book ahead, especially in peak season. But honestly, it’s worth every bite.

My stand-out plant-based picks:

  • Smashed Cucumbers – With wood ear mushrooms, black vinegar, and sesame. Light, spicy, and super refreshing.
  • Eggplant Katsu Bao Buns – Cucumber kimchi, strange flavour sauce, lettuce. These are hands-down the best bao buns I’ve had.
  • Miso Caramel Eggplant – Rich, sticky, and packed with flavour.
  • Turmeric & Coconut Curry – Creamy, fragrant and full of goodness. A lush curry packed with cauliflower, snake beans, and fresh herbs.

8. El Capitano

If you’re craving pizza in Noosa, El Capitano is the spot. Right in the heart of Hastings Street, this place has serious charm. Think dim lighting, nautical vibes, and a buzzy, always-happening atmosphere, perfect for date night. But let’s get to the main event: the pizza. El Capitano is all about their 72-hour slow-fermented sourdough base, made with organic Aussie flour. The crust? Light, chewy, a little crispy. So, basically, pizza-base perfection. Every pizza also comes with the option of subbing in vegan cheese (yay). They don’t have any vegan options in terms of pasta, but they have a great plant-based range of snacks, antipasti, pizza and sides. As with every place in Noosa, the meals are on the pricer side, but nonetheless delicious.

My stand-out plant-based picks:

  • Wood-Fired Flatbread – Garlic, sea salt, and rosemary. Simple but so good.
  • Bowl of Guilindina Peppers – Salty, slightly spicy, and totally addictive.
  • Vegan Butternut Pizza – Pumpkin, chickpeas, cauliflower, eggplant tahini, onion jam, and coriander. Flavour-packed and super satisfying.
  • Margherita Pizza (vegan-style) – Classic tomato base with vegan cheese and fresh basil. You can’t go wrong.

9.Bistro C

You kind of have to visit Bistro C when you’re in Noosa. It’s one of the area’s most iconic restaurants, and for good reason. Sitting right on the sand at Noosa Main Beach, it delivers on everything: stunning ocean views, laid-back coastal vibes, and a menu that feels a little bit fancy without being too try-hard. Whether you’re there for a long, lazy lunch, sunset cocktails, or a special dinner, the atmosphere is always spot on. The menu leans seafood-heavy, but they do have a few solid vegan options — and they’re usually happy to make tweaks if you ask. It’s definitely a treat-yourself kind of spot (the price reflects the view), but honestly, it’s worth it for that dreamy beachfront dining experience.

My stand-out plant-based picks:

  • Ciabatta – Served with dukkah, sweet balsamic and olive oil. A simple, tasty starter.
  • Gochujang Spiced Hummus – Comes with kimchi, sesame, and cassava crackers. Creamy, spicy and full of punchy flavour.
  • Miso Roast Beetroot Risotto – Creamy and rich, with vegan feta, zucchini flower, asparagus, and a carrot-top pistou. Delicious, smooth and super satisfying.

10.Spirit House

Okay, so technically this one isn’t in Noosa, which is why I’ve saved it for last, but if you’re up for a little adventure and possibly the best vegan three-course meal you’ve ever had, Spirit House is 100% worth the drive. It’s located in Yandina, about 40 minutes from Noosa, and it completely lives up to the hype.We booked in with a group of friends after hearing it was one of the best restaurants on the Sunshine Coast, and it did not disappoint. The setting alone is something special. Think misty, tropical gardens, boardwalks over ponds, and an Asian-style dining pavilion nestled among the trees. It has that dreamy “special occasion” energy. Just a heads-up, you’ll want to book well in advance because it fills up quickly. The food is modern Thai with bold, punchy flavours, and yes, they have a separate vegan/vegetarian menu that absolutely delivers. The set menu is $110 per person, and you choose one dish from each course. Everything I tried was stunning.

My stand-out plant-based picks:

  • Adobo Kohlrabi – With black banana ketchup (sounds strange, looked strange, tasted incredible) and chilli oil. Unexpected and seriously flavour-packed.
  • Green Curry of Salt-Baked Beetroot – Served with Nam Prik Num and crispy shallots. Rich, fragrant, and full of depth. The most flavoursome green curry sauce I have tasted.
  • Strawberries & Sticky Rice “Eton Mess” – A Thai twist on a classic, with strawberry compote, meringue, and chantilly cream. Light, sweet, and such a fun finish.

If you’re into cocktails, I highly recommend the Passionfruit & Chilli Margarita. It’s a fun and fiery take on a classic spicy marg. So good I had a couple.

Spirit House also offer cooking classes, which I didn’t get to try. But, if they’re anything like the food, I’ll be signing up next time I’m in town.

That’s my round-up of the top 10 vegan spots in Noosa! Before I wrap things up completely, I’ve got to give an honourable mention to the best coffee in town: Deux Ex Machina Australia. It’s technically a clothing store, but they serve next-level coffee from a little window out front, and it’s honestly elite. Nothing like grabbing a soy latte and doing a bit of retail therapy at the same time.

I hope this list helps you find some delicious plant-based eats (and drinks) while you’re in Noosa. Whether you’re fully vegan or just dabbling, there’s so much good food to enjoy, happy eating! If I have left any places out, please comment them below and let me know your favourite thing on the menu!

As always, I love and appreciate you. Thank you for reading! Until next time,
Chloe xx
